Heating the House by a Heat Pump
Najbrtová, Zuzana ; Sitek, Tomáš (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of heating a house by a heat pump. It has two parts: The theoretical part describes the principle of heat pump and its types, according to the source of low-potential energy used. The practical part outlines the dimensioning of the heat pump, based on the calculation of the heat loss of the selected building. Finally, the economic-technical comparison of the heat pump and the gas boiler is drawn.
Heat pump for resident heating
Abrahám, Jan ; Kudela, Libor (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of a heat pump for heating a family house. In the theoretical part of the thesis the principle of operation of the heat pump is introduced. This part also explains the coefficient of performance and describes the different types of heat pumps according to the heat source with their advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part the thermal losses of the selected building are calculated. The heating system is designed and finally the economical evaluation and the return of investment are determined.
Domestic heat pump
Veverka, Jakub ; Joch, Lukáš (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor's thesis is the ,,Heat pumps and house heating " . The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part briefly describes the principle of operation and the types of heat pumps (The variants are water to water, air to water, earth to water), including the advantages and disadvantages of their use. Heat pumps are effective solutions to home and hot water heating. The part describes the heat transfer between the condenser and the heating pipes. The second part includes a proposal for using the specific heat pump, a brief description of the selected object and calculate the heat loss. The third part pays attention to calculating the energy performance of buildings. Economic evaluation of the selected system and financial returns are contained in the fourth part of this work.
Proposals for measures to reduce the heat loss of a house
Faltýnek, Michal ; Chýlek, Radomír (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis addresses the draft measures for reduction of heat loss in a family house. Research is discussed in the first part. It theoretically describes the subject of heat loss, possible ways to reduce it and it also goes over the materials that are used for thermal insulation. The next part of the text describes the house model that is used to demonstrate the calculation of heat loss according to ČSN EN 12831. Subsequently, several precautions are proposed in order to reduce heat loss and financial expenses. The end of my work covers the return of investments based on the precautions as well as the evaluation of their foundation.

Usage of automated testing in terms of cost and benefits
Lízner, Tomáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Zelenka, Petr (referee)
This master's thesis is aimed at creating a methodology for the selection of suitable test for automation testing. The first part is devoted to the definition of the prerequisites for introduction of automated testing and the conditions for its effective course. The second part focuses on defining the exclusion criteria of tests which are unsuitable for automation. The following third part is devoted to defining the selection criteria for the determination of the test priority for automation. The selection criteria have been approved by the head of this thesis and consulted with the supervisor of the practical project, on which the criteria were tested for the first time. Based on these criteria, the individual manual tests are evaluated. Final count of points is used for determination of the test priority. The fourth section is devoted to calculation of the return on investment in automated testing. Because the investments made into the automated testing are very high, it must be assured that their amount will return for the selected period. The fifth part is focused on defining the principles for ensuring the proper maintenance of automated tests and describing the technical complications and frequent problems that may occur during automated testing. The last section is devoted to pilot verification of the methodology on a practical project and for determination of the test priority for automation.
